ELECTION OF AUTHORITIES 2025–2026

The Argentine Association of Television Broadcasters (ATA) begins a new stage with the renewal of its leadership.

Yesterday, during its Ordinary General Assembly, the new authorities of the Chamber were unanimously elected, appointing Gustavo Scaglione as President, together with the Board of Directors that will accompany his administration, composed of:

Vice President I: EUGENIO SOSA MENDOZA – Canal 13 Buenos Aires
Vice President II: JUAN JENEFES – Canal 7 Jujuy
Secretary: MARTA BUCHANAN – América TV
Deputy Secretary: RICARDO NOSIGLIA – Canal 13 Río Cuarto
Treasurer: ADRIÁN GALLO – Canal 3 Rosario
Deputy Treasurer: NICOLÁS TROTTA – Canal 9 Buenos Aires

This renewal marks another step forward in strengthening and consolidating the Argentine audiovisual industry, reaffirming the joint commitment of all members of the sector to development, plurality, and innovation in the media landscape.

In this new cycle, we celebrate the return of América TV and Telearte S.A., as well as the affiliation of Channel 7 of Mendoza, Channel 8 of San Juan, and the television networks C5N, TN, and MTV. These incorporations, together with the recent acquisition of a company with national capital, reflect the spirit of unity within Argentine television and the shared effort to continue building an increasingly solid, plural, and representative industry.

ATA renews its commitment to the future of television and audiovisual content in the country. United, stronger, and more relevant than ever, we continue to defend creativity, freedom of expression, and the cultural value of our media.

Today’s context presents major challenges: digital transformation, changes in consumption habits, global competition, and new audience demands. This context is also an opportunity. With vision, collaborative work, and a shared mission, we are ready to continue driving an innovative, modern Argentine audiovisual industry committed to its audiences and its workers.
