The International Association of Broadcasting (IAB) is an organization that brings together private radio and television associations from across the Americas — as institutional members — along with individual television channels and radio stations from various countries and regions, who participate as individual members.
Since its founding, IAB has been the institutional voice of private broadcasting across the Americas, articulating the interests of its members before international organizations, governments, and other stakeholders in the media ecosystem, and accompanying the industry through more than seven decades of technological and regulatory transformation.
IAB maintains an ongoing commitment to defending freedom of thought and expression, as well as freedom of reception, and promotes collaboration among broadcasters in activities of public interest and social service.
