IAB Condemns the Attack on Radio Rivadavia in Argentina
The International Association of Broadcasting (IAB) strongly condemns the attack carried out during the early hours of Saturday, June 14, against the facilities of Radio Rivadavia in Argentina.
The IAB expresses its full solidarity with the staff and management of Radio Rivadavia, and supports the strong condemnation issued by the Association of Private Broadcasters of Argentina (ARPA).
We reiterate that violence can never be the path. The defense of press freedom demands full respect for the media and for those who, with responsibility and commitment, exercise the right to inform.
